SF Chronicle Public Wine Tasting, February 19, 2011

Thousands of wines were submitted and judgment was passed. Safe to say we fared pretty well with Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals. Now that the professional judging portion is over it's time to get the public involved. Many of the wineries, including Terra Savia of course, will be pouring their award winning wines from all over the country to the general public for you to enjoy and scrutinize away.  It's time to see if the Gold Medals are worth their weight in hype.

The Chronicle competition is the largest wine competition in the world. At this event there will be over 300 wineries so if you're searching for a perfect Tempranillo or want to find some great Pinot Noir from the Pacific Northwest, this is a great place to try. There's also a lot of hype, speculation, and misunderstanding when it comes to organic wines so this will also be the time and place to talk to the winemakers themselves and find out what they have to say. This event is a guaranteed sellout so get your tickets now.

The event takes place on Saturday, February 19th, 2011 at Fort Mason
