Of Wine and Whales

Want a great excuse to escape to the Mendocino coast for the weekend?  Join our winemaker Jim Milone this Saturday, March 6th at the Sea Rock Inn in Mendocino from 12:00 to 4:00 to celebrate their 28^th Annual Mendocino Whale Festival.  Jim will be pouring Terra Sávia’s 2008 Chardonnay, Blanc de Blancs, and Meritage wines.  It promises to be a festive weekend on the coast with some of the area’s top chefs preparing their favorite seafood chowders in a tasting event.  There will also be docent-led walks as the gray whales begin to make their way north from their birthing grounds in Baja.
