Kermit the Blog

Sitting on the porch of the Clubhouse yesterday, a beautiful hummingbird was happily chugging away on one of the Salvia “Hot Lips” we bought from Kermit of Flowers By the Sea.  Initially all red flowers now display a perfectly harmonious red and white. Hopland seems to be a good climate for Hot Lips because it is growing beautifully on the grounds of the old Thatcher Inn, now known as the Hopland Inn.  One of these late afternoons, we hope to have camera in hand when the hummingbird appears again.
