Passport Followup

Now that part one of the bi-annual Hopland Passport weekend is over it's on the madness of kicking the cats off the desk as we fill orders, sift through piles of emails, bottle oil, and attempt 1000 other to do's that were neglected for half of last week and all weekend.

It's interesting to see The Hopland Passport grow for us every year. When we started participating three years ago we were just a warehouse sitting on a rather barren plot of land surrounded by a vineyard, only able to do olive oil tastings due to a liquor license still being in process. Things have changed; now there is a healthy garden, greenhouse, a warehouse/tasting room filled with art and beautiful handcrafted wood furniture, and a liquor license to do wine tastings.
With each one of these events we seem to experience more and more people stopping at Terra Savia with many making it a priority stop on the Passport Shuttle route. Those people seem to be sending quite a few over from other wineries which leaves us with an ecstatic feeling that our hard work is paying off.
All in all, the event was a success even though attendance was a little lighter than the Fall Passport event. As always, we enjoyed hanging out with all those who graced us with their presence and look forward to seeing you in October, or sooner if you come visit!

Sincere thanks to the Hopland Passport organizers, those who volunteered their time to provide some much-needed assistance, and of course the event attendees!
